The Hershey Story believes every student should experience the sense of wonder and connection to the past that a museum provides. The artifacts, personal stories and hands-on activities can inspire kids to become life-long museum lovers who enjoy learning.

The Share the Story Scholarship Fund helps eligible schools bring students to experience The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue.

What is the "Share the Story" Scholarship Fund?

Qualifying schools may apply for a $4 per student stipend to help cover the cost of a field trip to The Hershey Story.

Who is eligible?

Any Pennsylvania school that has 75% or more students who are eligible for free- or reduced-price lunches under the National School Lunch program.

What can the funds be used for?

The scholarship funds may be used for students to visit The Hershey Story with their school.

Regular student prices:

• Museum EduQuest: $6 per student
• Museum EduQuest and Chocolate Lab: $8.50 per student
• American Heritage: $8.50 per student

Using scholarship funds:

• Museum EduQuest: $2 per student
• Museum EduQuest and Chocolate Lab: $4.50 per student
• American Heritage: $4.50 per student

When can we visit?

Each school year, between September 1 and March 31.

How do I apply?

Applications will remain available until all funding has been dispersed. Simply complete the application and submit it online. You will be contacted within two weeks.

Please note: Funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment of the trip balance is required 30 days before your visit, or the scholarship funding is forfeited. The application must be received by The Hershey Story at least four weeks prior to your anticipated visit.
