Chocolate making is a sweet recipe for learning about art and science.
Inspired by Milton Hershey's own candy-making apprenticeship and his flair for experimentation,
the Chocolate Lab explores the unique qualities of chocolate through playful, hands-on experiences
and interactive demonstrations. Guaranteed to bring out the kid in you, the Chocolate Lab offers
participatory classes such as tempering, molding, dipping and even making chocolate from scratch.
Arrive early to book your Chocolate Lab Class, as they fill quickly. Classes may only be purchased
at the admissions desk on the day of the class.
In order to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable and safe experience in the Chocolate Lab, we ask that you note the following:
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Children must be at least four years old to enter the Lab
- Strollers are not permitted in the Chocolate Lab
- Tickets are required and may be purchased at the admissions desk
While we make every effort not to allow tree or ground nuts in the Chocolate Lab, the Lab is not allergen-free.
