10:15 -11 AM
Chocolate by Design
What makes dark chocolate dark and white chocolate white? This class will answer those questions and give you a rare look at a real cocoa pod, beans and nibs, and other ingredients of chocolate. After getting the inside scoop on what makes chocolate so tasty, you will create your own "abstract art" by using three types of chocolates to form a design.

11:30 AM – 12:15 PM
Chocolate Origins
Chocolate originated in the warm forest regions south of the border and the Aztec and Mayan cultures were the first to enjoy it.  Using the methods of these cultures, grind cocoa beans by hand and create a chocolate beverage using your own blend of tropical spices.
