For The Community

Like most of Milton Hershey’s endeavors, The Hershey Story is designed for the people of
Hershey and its surrounding areas. A living, breathing part of the community, the museum
gives those who live and work in Hershey an inviting spot to enjoy time with family and
friends. The Hershey Story is also a great place to kick off a visit to Chocolatetown for
anyone who is eager to learn about Hershey — the man, the town and the company.
The inspiring atmosphere at The Hershey Story is ideal for community gatherings. Residents and organizations are encouraged to use the museum’s flexible classroom spaces and other facilities such as the Chocolate Lab and Café Zooka for meetings and events. Some evening, you may find yourself invited there for a business mixer, a cocktail - party fundraiser for a local charity, or perhaps a class reunion.
In its prime location on Chocolate Avenue, The Hershey Story reestablishes the downtown district as a vibrant economic center of activity. Easily accessible for everyone, the museum offers ample parking and proximity to the Transportation Center. Along with the beautifully restored Hershey Press Building next door, this gorgeous and impressive new landmark in the heart of the city is the centerpiece of a revitalized downtown Hershey.
